Glory was my best friend in high school. She was salutatorian (graduated with second highest academic rank of the 535 students) of our high school class. Though she had a quiet and studious demeanor in high school, her friends who were lucky enough to know her, knew that she also had a quick wit and a wild sense of humor. It was a shock to get a phone call that she had been killed on the morning of November 16, 1998, after an oncoming car hit her car head-on while she was driving through Rockford on her way to work. Glory Bea Otten (07/18/62) was 36, married, and resided in Buffalo, Minnesota. Her two beautiful daughters, Pamela Pearl Kasper (4/19/85) and Marcelle Mary Kasper (5/10/87), are unpretentious, fun, intelligent and outgoing young women who are blessed with the same dazzling smile and charisma as their mother.
